Thank you for making the 2007 Festival of Trees a great success!

This exciting community event is a charitable fundraiser for the Vancouver Rotary Foundation--a local, non-profit service organization that makes grants and fund scholarships for our community’s charitable organizations and exemplary students.

At the 2007 Festival of Trees, our 12th Anniversary, we made history!

-More than 65 beautifully decorated trees, wreaths and garlands were displayed.

-Our first-ever eBay auction was a success, with all items being sold.

-Our new Senior Luncheon at Pearson Air Museum was a huge success.

-Vendor booths at the Festival of Gifts increased by 50%, to 30 vendors!

-At our gala auction, we raised $38,100 for the Alexa Dyer Life Challenge Award.

-Bidders at the auction also raised $10,500 for scholarships to Clark College--funds that will be matched by the Clark College Foundation to create 7 brand new full scholarships to Clark--in addition to the scholarships we and they already fund.

 

The proceeds of the event, including the auctions, will help the Vancouver Rotary Club and Rotary Foundation continue to support schools and charities in SW Washington.
